How quickly you can lose weight depends on a wide range of factors. How overweight are you, how old are you, how tall are you? Are all factors that come into play but also how much you move, how much and what you eat and of course your genes.
2 lbs a week
To lose two lbs a week, which is really to lose weight quickly, you need to be in a calorie deficit of 7000 kcal per week. You can achieve this both by reducing your calorie intake or by increasing your calorie burn. The most effective thing, of course, is to do both.
